Urban Design + Planning

Poster Frost Mirto specializes in urban design and community/neighborhood planning. For more than thirty years in Tucson our work has been rooted in the communities we serve. For some firms this is lip service; for us it forms the core of our practice. As Certified Planners (AICP) we have extensive experience working with neighborhoods, political entities, governmental agencies, and the wide variety of people who bring their views to our projects. We give a voice to all participants to create a sense of ownership among the people who will use and care for our projects. We work primarily with the urban core of Tucson, and our projects are most successful when they fit within and contribute to the urban fabric. We advocate for urban density, infill, redevelopment, transit oriented development, and improving the public realm.
